Kilmeena Ladies go through to League Semifinal

After a long 6 week break from competitive games, our Junior Ladies played Claremorris LGFA on Sunday the 20th August.

The Kilmeena girls played with a strong wind in the first half, with points coming from captain Julia Sztejner, Lisa Hastings, Éabha Carney and 2 goals from Katie Hogan, giving Kilmeena a secure lead at halftime.

With Claremorris only having 13 players, Kilmeena were able to continue to add to the scoreline into the second half, substituting in and out players, and giving all of the girls togged out some well deserved game time.

Final Score; Kilmeena 3 - 12 to Claremorris 0 - 03

The Junior team will now play Tourmakeady in a Semi Final this Sunday 27th August at 11am in Kilmeena.

All support is welcome and greatly appreciated 🏁
