Kilmeena GAA/LGFA Bord na nÓg presentations 13th Nov 2022

The Bord na nÓg presentation event took place on Sunday, 13th November in the Castlecourt Hotel.

It was great to see the large attendance by all teams and their parents.

Guests for the event were members of the Kilmeena senior men’s All-Ireland winning team, Manager John Reilly, Goalkeeper Paul Groden and the captain of our senior ladies’ team and Mayo Junior B champions, Róisín Carney.

Thank you to Bord na nÓg chairman, Pete Mortimer and secretary Mairead Durkan for organizing the event and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day.

Photos were taken for each of the teams and players from U6 to U14 for both girls and boys were presented with participation medals. The girls U16 team were presented with the county league division 2 shield and medals, with the girls U18 team also receiving their county shield.


Local league winners were presented with their cups by the respective sponsors

  • Austin Gibbons presented the Declan Gibbons memorial cup to the boy’s section A captain, Finn Mulchrone

  • Abbie Quinn presented the William Quinn memorial cup to the boy’s section B captain, Noah Coughlan

  • Paul Ryan presented the Ryan Perpetual cup to the boy’s section C captain, Donnachta McGauley

  • Kitty Mulloy presented the Padraic Mulloy memorial cup to the girls Section A captain, Shauna Durkan

  • Mairead Durkan (Secretary of Bord na nÓg) presented the Kelly cup on behalf of the family to the girls Section B captain, Gráinne Feehan
