Kilmeena GAA would like to congratulate our club under 13 player Daniel Kelly who was recently given the prestigious honour to Captain the FAI National Emerging Talent squad which played in the Actavo Cup on the weekend of the 14th -16th September last. This event was hosted by Cherry Orchard FC located in Ballyfermot, Dublin.
Daniel’s team played against squads from non-other than Glasgow Celtic, Newcastle Utd, St Patrick’s Athletic and Swansea city. Liverpool, Aberdeen and host club Cherry Orchard also took part in this competition.
