Saturday was a very busy day for our U10s. It started early - at 10am hosting Islandeady's U10s. Such were our numbers that we had to alternate two teams between quarters to match the opposition. The match proved to be a very competitive encounter with Islandeady giving us a good run for our money.
Following that match, we played the visiting St. Joseph's GAA Club from Hertfordshire in what turned out to be a surprisingly lively encounter. Again, we alternated our teams to match the opposition's numbers. Our boys put in a very strong performance and did their club proud. Overall, it was a memorable day with both games played in glorious sunshine and finishing with gallons of tea, trays of sandwiches and ice cream a-plenty!
